Mady: This morning, we went to the zoo in Guatemala city and this afternoon, we went to Antigua – and there are 3 guard dogs, 2 boys and one girl, where we are staying. And they are very cute. At six o’clock the church next to us rang their church bell six times. We learned that people who don’t have money make stuff and sell it on the street. Tonight we are very tired.
Jade: In Guatemala I was expecting it to be warm and toasty, but it was cold and damp in the morning. The sun came out and it became warm and I took off my sweater and felt the warmth. Right now we are in our hotel and looking out the window it is getting late but I can see some light in the sky (6:00 pm). We have Spanish school tomorrow which is me, my teacher and Mady. We might even go on a school trip together.
